dc: ah. and it’s darwin’s birthday too!
dc: they were born on the same day
ss: that that douche.
ss: **fuck that
dc: I’ve always like him!
dc: What did he ever do to you?
dc: …Other than suggest you might have descended from monkeys.
ss: douchebag.
dc: did you have to write some complicated essay on him or something?
dc: series of essays?
ss: nah…
ss: just think his whole schtick was kinda racist.
dc: yeahhh, if you get right down to it
dc: but hey, you got a better theory?
ss: non racially seperation.
dc: It’s a really tough argument to say that people of different races have identical biology.
dc: I mean, not to compare humans to dogs or anything, but there are several hundred different kinds of dogs, right?
dc: they’re all dogs, no matter what breed, but the each breed can be very elaborately different from the next
dc: I’ve never really heard a convincing argument that says that isn’t the same for humans. I’m not making value statements here, and obviously the differences aren’t as pronounced as in dogs, but there are certainly differences between different races, if ONLY skin colour
ss: fuck race!
dc: see, that’s the only argument i get
dc: and i don’t think race necessarily matters
dc: but if people are more LIKELY to be predisposed to be a certain way or to have certain skills or weaknesses, why shouldn’t we know about them, or more importantly, talk about them?
